Those Marvelous Little Travel Pillows

Those Marvelous Little Travel Pillows

So what’s with all the travel pillows that are out these days? Have we become so lazy that we can no longer hold our heads up without support? Yes, I do believe we have. Just cruise down the aircraft aisle next time you’re seated in 7E and need to reach the facilities behind 29F. Heads aren’t bobbing, no sir. The savvy traveler now has some kind of travel pillow to hold their head in place to avoid the “cart crash” or “window bounce” action.

These little marvels come in all shapes and sizes, colors and textures. Some are those spongy things, some with little pellets and they even have the more inconspicuous less-space hogging blow up versions. Microfiber beads, cotton-poly blend, goose down, synthetic down, buckwheat and millet, there is a pillow out there for just about any taste. There are some travel pillows on the market for children that look like dogs, cats, lions, tigers and bears! Oh my! There is the double chambered or the massaging style and some even have little pouch to store I- don’t- know -what. Maybe you could tuck your chewing gum in there or something. Or perhaps your name and address so that your pillow can promptly be returned if lost.

Personally, I don’t have one but probably should own one. There is nothing worse than the next seat cuddler. You know the type that falls asleep shortly after take-off and before the beverages are served; they already have their head bobbing forward. You’ve finally managed to squeeze your tray table down and suddenly the head lands on your shoulder. Look out, they’ve got you now. Before the flight attendant can serve your drink over the guy’s drooling droopy head, the arm and shoulder begin to occupy your space and he looks like he’s on the verge of cuddling you like his long lost blankie. No one wants to be this guy, and no one wants to sit next to him.

So it does make sense to have some kind of neck support to keep you from accidental seat spillage. Some aircraft have little neck support “wings” on the back of your seat that you can flip out to keep your head steady. I don’t know how many times I flew on this particular aircraft and never noticed these wonderful little in-seat options. They are great, but certainly not like your very own tempur-pedic, hypoallergenic, memory foam pillow with the dust mite resistant velour cover in your choice of 9 colors with matching eye shades and blanket. Perhaps we will all eventually catch up on our much needed sleep thanks to these marvelous little travel pillows. If not, we can at least stop a cuddler or two on our next flight.

Here at travelpillowzone.com will help you to equalize tension and pressure. So, if you need to have the best sleep and relaxation while traveling we have different kinds of traveling pillows that meet your needs.

Ergonomic Travel Neck Pillow Is Better Than U-Shaped Pillow, Also For Tall People

Ergonomic Travel Neck Pillow Is Better Than U-Shaped Pillow, Also For Tall People

There are many variations for neck pillow on the market. U-shaped is the most popular.  However, they failed to deliver the needed head support.  This newly released travel neck pillow is particularly helpful to people with neck problems.

Ergonomic travel neck pillow designed by BioMed DB Design provides the right support for the head allowing the user to sleep in a comfortable but healthy posture during a long flight or car ride.  With the help of such a travel pillow, your head won’t sleep sideways, and you won’t wake up with a painful neck or a stiff neck.  Custom made travel neck pillow is made for tall people with taller pillow body and side support.

Sunshine pillows are designed for travel use, such as in a car or on a flight.  However, many people use them while watching TV or reading, even sleeping. A lot of people with neck problems use it when sleeping on a bed, or a recliner chair. Use a cotton cover enhances the comfort.  You may flip the pillow so the opening is away from your neck, and the neck support part is still at the neck area. You may use it side ways or sleep on your back. Put the pillow in a pillow case would also work fine.

Sunshine Pillow has many sizes.  For most adults, medium should work fine.    It all depends on your shape and neck size.  Tall people should order a custom made neck pillow.  These pillows are modified to fit tall people or people with longer neck than normal.

BioMed DB Design also offers an online pillow fitting tool to help users pick the right size of neck pillows.

One variation of Sunshine Pillow is chiropractic neck pillow, or ChiroNeck.  It has an extra firm neck support insert. It helps in maintaining your proper spine alignment.

Sunshine pillows are now available in many stores.  Please check the store list.

Dr. Min Xu told said:

” Using is believing! I could not believe the effect of Sunshine Pillow before I used it. It is absolutely the best travel cushion I have ever used. I really love the one with firm support. On my flight from Seattle to Florida which was quite a long flight, the pillow made my whole trip very enjoyable. The shape of the pillow follows the ergonomic design that firmly supports my neck. I felt that my neck was in the right position and fully supported. I had never slept so well on an airplane in my whole life. Sunshine Pillow will be my travel companion forever. “

Testimonials:

” I am a limo driver with VIP and celebrity clientele who have to be in shape at all points of the globe on a moments notice. One of my favorite clients showed up in severe pain following a long exhaustive trip to Florida….and return trip to Southern California. She had almost no sleep prior to the trip, none on the trip, and fell asleep due to extreme exhaustion on the way back home and awoke with a pinched nerve in her neck.

She saw Dr. after Dr. and was getting no better.

I did some Internet research and found that a small company in Washington state had remarkable results with this kind of affliction, simply by purchasing a travel neck pillow…..

It was a no- brainer for me….a decision I will never regret.

I have my favorite client back and her reports are of a stunning reversal in her symptoms and ” the best nights sleep since Florida!!” She sleeps every night with it and enjoys the neck roll’s firm support as well as the portability of the easy carry handle.

Thanks For Making Such A Superior Product.”

You Should not be Confused by the Large Number of Travel Pillows on the Market

You Should not be Confused by the Large Number of Travel Pillows on the Market

All the discomfort and the tiredness we often associate with a journey can be more easily tackled with when using travel pillows; such items occupy a pretty small space in the hand luggage and they are ideal for both children and adults. The snugness of your bed won’t be compensated for, that is one sure thing, but travel pillows can definitely alleviate homesickness particularly for the little ones. There are several models of such pillows to choose from, and most people are thrilled to try inflatable forms as being the most easy to use ones. However, since there are quite a number of problems travel pillows can solve, designs vary widely.

The material used for manufacturing of the travel pillows is also highly important. Thus, when going for picnics or to the beach, PVC travel pillows are the most suitable ones as they don’t get tarnished because of the sand or the sun. Then, there are the L-shaped travel pillows that work well for neck support during flights; they are designed in such a way so that body position will not affect the shape and the quality of the support. Such travel pillows are made of very soft materials and their casings bring no cleaning difficulty at all.

There are also neck travel pillows that help one prevent highly bothersome back pains, not to mention the fact that even the body shape can be preserved if the right travel item is chosen. This is the case of travel pillows that use buckwheat for stuffing: they are extremely comfortable and incredibly light, so that you won’t notice them in the luggage. For camping when you are likely to use a sleeping bag over night, travel pillows with polyester covers are the ones that work the best for the matter. Many people find themselves confused by the large number of travel pillows available on the market.

After all which is the best one to choose? The important thing is to stay focused and make your choice according to how convenient and comfortable a certain model of travel pillows is. Then, ask yourself on what occasions you are going to use such an item. The type of covering, the material the pillow is made of (inflatable or not), the easiness to pack, and the overall functionality are among the most important factors that should influence your decision. Price could also be an issue here, yet, all you have to do is think about the relationship between quality and cost; if it is reasonable, then go for it!

How a Travel Pillow Helps you Reduce the Pressure of a Tiresome Journey

How a Travel Pillow Helps you Reduce the Pressure of a Tiresome Journey

Do you often complain about the discomfort of long journeys? Have you got difficulties to sleep on the plane? A travel pillow could be just the right item to solve your problem and help you reduce the pressure of a tiresome journey, making it a lot easier to bear with. The first to enjoy the use of a travel pillow are kids; the little ones often find it difficult to part with their cozy room, and go through the challenges of a trip. A nice and soft travel pillow with some favorite cartoon characters for instance will be a link with the nice familiar environment.

A travel pillow is also ideal for anyone who has spinal health problems, since too much seating can often result in severe back pains. There are all sorts of therapeutic pillows that can be purchased for journeys: an L-shaped travel pillow will provide the right support for the head allowing the user to sleep in a comfortable but healthy posture. With the help of such a travel pillow, your head won’t sleep sideways, and you won’t wake up with a painful neck or a stiff spine because of the awkward position you assumed while resting.

For drivers who are going on long rides, there is a special kind of travel pillow that cushions the lumbar area. Sometimes, lumbar pillows are already included in the structure of the driver’s seat, but if this not the case you may consider buying an attachable one. While seating, there is a lot of pressure from the trunk onto the bones in the coccyx area, the muscles tend to stiffen and one has the impression of carrying a huge burden on the back. The price of a lumbar travel pillow is more than accessible, whereas the comfort it brings is a real bliss, you will actually manage to stay relaxed and enjoy the ride.

Don’t worry about the room the travel pillow will take in your hand luggage. You can buy inflatable models so that you can spare some more space in the bags. A travel pillow is feather-light and very soft, so that you’ll have absolutely no problems carrying it around. If you are accompanied by children over the age of four, you can very well teach them a small responsibility: they should be the ones to carry the small travel pillow each has got. This will make the little ones feel important and at the same time relaxed that they have an item that comes from home.

Have Travel Pillow-Will Travel

Have Travel Pillow-Will Travel

There are just certain things which we used to take for granted that are now nowhere to be found. In the good old days, you would walk onto a plane and each seat had a travel pillow and blanket well organized and ready for our comfort. I relish the days when the airlines used to have a big ole’ stack of newspapers and magazines they would pass out to passengers just before takeoff. That was nice. You could cover up, rest your poor weary head and kick back with a good piece of reading material.

Gone are the days of baked on board cookies and actual meals. Yes, sadly we are in a “fend-for-yourself” world and having your own travel pillow just makes sense. Obviously we cherish our comforts. The road is rough out there but we can all survive as long as we have our own plushy, squishy travel pillow with us.

We used to coddle our children and allow them to bring their little pillow with them for added security and comfort. But now, we ALL have a travel pillow and it is no longer just for the kids but for everyone. We’re all just kids deep down inside wanting our “lovey”, as some nannies call it. It makes us feel nicer. After you’ve been practically stripped down by federal agents, walked through security belt less and shoeless and had to stand in line and wait to be subjected to all this humiliating scrutiny, it’s nice to be able to snuggle down in your middle seat of a full aircraft with your own clean, silky travel pillow. As Martha would say, “it’s a good thing.”

Sitting for long periods of time will cause swelling and joint pain and an increased risk of blood clots. Numerous studies have been done on Deep Vein Thrombosis, known as “Economy Class Syndrome”, problems occurring on long flights. There is a travel seat pillow out now that actually runs on batteries providing alternating support to your derriere. On a very long flight or drive this could actually be a life-saver if you are prone to stiffness when sitting for extended periods of time.

There are nice sets available on the market with the matching travel pillow, blanket and eye shades. This is a nice trio to keep on hand. Traveling is almost an extreme sport and having a few comforting niceties at hand will make it a little easier on both you and your aching muscles. Face it, coach seats are getting smaller and as a society we are getting bigger. Your travel pillow may just take the edge off, allowing you to fall into slumber land and forget all the woes that go with air and road travel.

Here at travelpillowzone.com will help you to equalize tension and pressure. So, if you need to have the best sleep and relaxation while traveling we have different kinds of traveling pillows that meet your needs.

Inflatable – No Silly, Travel Pillows

Inflatable – No Silly, Travel Pillows

Now days you can move about the universe tightly packed up and voila! Once you arrive you simply blow your accommodations up and you’re the perfect guest, hiker or camper. You can pack up a small little bag containing a bed and another with your little inflatable travel pillow. One inflatable travel pillow retailer even claims it’s ready to use in two breaths! Two breaths. It takes more than that to normally put a pillowcase on.

These inflatable pillows once were only suction cupped to the back of our bathtubs. But now, you can get one in any color under the rainbow with a multitude of options. And with the added portability of inflation you can squish this up into a small exterior side pocket of your travel on luggage and carry it anywhere. This is the kind of carry on staple that should remain in your travel bag at all times. Whether you are traveling by car to Aunt Peggy’s annual Fourth of July Barbeque, by train to your job everyday or by airplane to that perfect beach in the Caribbean you will find you wish you had your inflatable travel pillow. Other must haves include the ear buds you paid for on that last trip and vow to keep on hand for the next but you always forget and buy a new pair. And don’t forget the socks.  You gentlemen out there will probably already have them on, but ladies you know how cold your feet get.

So let’s look at a few of the options available in an inflatable pillow:

Inflatable Travel Neck Pillows – typically u shaped to be used around the neck or around one side of the neck with the lower half positioned to support the chin

Inflatable travel back pillows – more for the lumbar region to reduce stress and fatigue on your lower back.

Inflatable Adjustable Travel Back Cushion – for extra comfort to suit your specific needs in the lower back region.

Most of these pillows have washable micro fleece covers as well as touch button inflation and a release valve to instantly deflate when you’re in a hurry. Some offer firmness adjustment with the touch of a button as well. One overnight stay in an airport chair or lounge floor will make you a believer in the benefits of carrying your own pillow.

Use it at your desk or on the sofa. If you can’t seem to get the right support while lying in bed watching TV, blow up your inflatable pillow to provide that extra stability for the relaxation of your neck.

Prices typically range from .99- .00 depending on durability, fabric and options.

And although they don’t have suction cups on these wonderful inflatable travel pillows, you could still use it in the bath or hot tub. Just don’t fall asleep!

A Case for the Travel Pillow Case

A Case for the Travel Pillow Case

By now you have probably purchased a travel pillow with a special travel pillow case. They are everywhere. Men, women and children are all carrying around their own special pillows these days. Whether it’s on the train commute, by air, by car or by sea, little travel pillows in their special little travel pillow cases are being used to hold up the weary heads of America. If so many are now being seen in public, just imagine the revolution going on at home, on the sofa, in the bed.

There are as many travel pillow cases as there are travel pillow options.  There are the inflatable pillows, the tempurpedic pillows, the foam pillows, the flax seed, goose down, synthetic down, and the water pillows. There is one which must have been made for menopausal women called the Chillow as it has a liquid core to keep you cool. Then, after making that exhaustive choice, you have to choose the proper casing.

Some of the materials available today for your pillow case are: soft plush velour, silk, woven brushed microfiber, 100% cotton,300-1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, cotton/poly blend, velvet, suede microfiber, and even cashmere.

One website even boasts personalized travel pillow cases with various motifs including: cheerleading, baseball, soccer, dinosaurs, horses, butterflies and ballet for the smaller traveler. Another company offers 100% cotton standard size pillowcases with colorable designs. Kids can use the enclosed fabric markers and create their own special pillow case.

Pillow cases also come with anti-microbial treatments and some can even double as a washcloth. One website even boasted a baby travel pillowcase that is “buttery soft ‘mink dot’ velour.”  Every baby needs one of these. Some have little pockets; some even hold your I-pod and earphones.

If you own a travel pillow you must have a travel pillow case or maybe even two so that you have one to use while the other is washing and drying. Smart travelers have found a dirty travel pillow case can double as a laundry sack while you’re on the road. We certainly don’t want to get our tidies and untidiness mixed up, now would we?

So whether you are the luxurious cashmere type or the good old soft flannel sort, there are literally hundreds of travel pillow cases to choose from. And since your head is now so rested you may even get a creative streak and design and sew your own.  Who knows, this could even become your own cottage industry! In any case, make sure your travel pillow case is the one you dream of and you’ll be sleeping like a baby before you know it.
