Cushion is a pillow. This pillow function is not to be to put your head into. It is meant to be sit on or sometime to be kneel upon. This cushion also sometime also use to soften the chair. It looks like the thing we saw in the film about Arabic Sheik. He often sit on the cushion, smoking shisha.   The princess in the movie also often sit in this pillow. Cushion is one old furniture. In the middle ages palace and great houses mention them. Its mean maybe real prince and princess maybe sit on it. In later period France and Spain used as seats.
