Throw pillow is a pillow that can be throw, but it is not meant to be throw. It is a decoration on the armchair but sometime it also found in bed. It about 16-18 inch. The circular and cylindrical throw pillow is called bolster. Maybe the name comes from it size that small and can be thrown. It’s other name is toss pillow. Sometime it also referred as Cushion.

My grandmother have lot of throw pillow. It is black, with the picture of Wayang in the cover. They are pretty comfortable when I used them to sleep but not as comfort as a good Bed Pillow.  It is very nice to have Throw pillow on a sofa or armchair. It made the sofa and armchair look special. It makes good decoration and also it gives more colour to furniture and the room.

There are many type of covers for this pillow. The fabric can be made from denim to velvet. There are also various design from colourful to simple bold. It make us easy to build a good atmosphere of a room. The purpose of Throw pillow is mainly for decoration, but it also could be used to give softness to hard furniture.
